I chose to read this book because I was getting tired of the same old routine.
I was looking for inspiration motivating me to loose a few pounds and gain more energy to keep up with my kids.
But all the other routes fizzled out and I ended up quitting.
Then I stumbled across the below book:
Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion is now available to purchase.
Whatever you do, don’t pick up this book if you only have a short  span to read! You will not want to put Always Eat After 7 PM down!
And if you missed my first post you can catch up here!

Here’s why this book is going to rock your world.

Why Always Eat After 7 PM actually works!

I’ve been intrigued by the intermittent fasting concept so this message really struck me.

“The most challenging times to curb hunger are just before bed and in the morning. By following the Always Eat After 7 PM program, you have the most willpower to stay on the diet because you are eating during the hours when you are most hungry. This also puts you into both intermittent fasting increasing testosterone and your metabolism, while putting you into ketosis.”

Truth!

It’s the whole willpower problem that causes me to relapse. Especially at night when I feel like I’m starving. The temptation to devour unhealthy foods quickly is great.

Ending junk food cravings at night was a huge motivator for me to dive into this book. And when I did eat late, I wanted to reach for healthy foods to help me burn fat.

When I’d eat chips or chocolate after 7 PM, I’d always feel guilty the next morning.

That’s why I couldn’t wait to read Always Eat After 7 PM. I wanted to learn how Joel Marion did it.

Always Eat After 7 PM is riveting reading!

I couldn’t wait to dive into Always Eat After 7 PM to learn what author Joel Marion had to say about intermittent fasting, a new concept for me that I was dying to learn more about.

Here’s a quick excerpt from Always Eat After 7 PM.

“Going without breakfast is part of intermittent fasting (IF), also called time-restricted feeding (TRF). IF is a pattern of food consumption that cycles between fasting and eating in specific time periods. There are various ways to do it; one of the most common is the 16/8 protocol, which involves 16 hours of fasting—typically done overnight—with an 8-hour window in which to eat each day.”

So I tried IF myself for two weeks. And for the first time in a year I stopped gaining weight and actually lost 3 pounds.

I nearly cried. I told myself again and again that I’ve had three kids and wasn’t meant to loose weight. Impossible.

But Always Eat After 7 PM gave me hope again that weight loss was possible.

And don’t even get me started on the myths Joel Marion debunks regarding breakfast.

Always Eat After 7 PM convinced me that I didn’t need to force-feed myself in the morning, could wait until 10-11 AM to eat (fitting in with the IF method) and I finally started to drop pounds.

Author insights ~ mini Joel Marion interview

What inspired you to write the book?

After authoring 6 best selling books it was glaringly obvious there were 2 huge misconceptions about dieting that needed to be exposed. The first is that you can’t eat late at night or before bed, which science now shows is NOT true. And second, you can’t eat large portions that satisfy your natural instinct. This book solves both these problems by providing an evidence-based, enjoyable approach to dieting that can be used by any person to quickly achieve their weight loss goals.

How difficult is the Always Eat After 7 PM plan to follow?

It’s not. And that’s exactly why I wrote the book. While any diet is never truly easy, it can be more enjoyable and much easier to adhere to when you understand how Always Eat After 7pm works because it caters to our bodies natural instincts.

What was the most surprising discovery when you were researching scientific data for the diet?

That almost everything my college education and certifications taught me was NOT grounded in published scientific research.
