Weather Forecaster with Wireless Qi-Charging Pad Giveaway with AcuRite!

weather forecaster

I just had this epiphany. Weather forecaster. Weather forecasters are a little like kittens. You want more than one.

While we have an AcuRite weather station on the first floor of our house, there was a great need for one upstairs, too.

If you’ve never had the pleasure of owning your own weather forecaster, then you are going to be filled with joy today if you win. This is how you become a meteorologist minus the pricey degree.

But even if you don’t, no shame in just buying one for yourself this Christmas. Confession time: my mom is probably the biggest customer AcuRite has. She buys their products for everyone on her birthday and Christmas list.

So I’m over-the-moon thrilled if you win this awesome AcuRite forecaster with wireless charging pad. It will rock your world!

How to enter to WIN!

Simply fill out the SweepWidget form at the end of this post. Please be aware, I use the email address to contact you if win! I hope that’s you!!!

Why two weather forecasters are ideal!

The truth is, I check my weather station first thing every morning. I want to know morning temps to prepare for my day.

The problem? It’s mounted to the wall downstairs. But what if I want to know the weather sooner? What if I want to know the weather the second I wake up. It happens.

After all, I want to dress upstairs. I don’t want to have to go downstairs to check the weather and then have to come back up to dress.

I get it, the extra hike is doing me no harm. It’s more about convenience. Moreover, that’s what the AcuRite forecaster is all about.

Sheer convenience. It’s so easy. In just one tech gadget, I get the most accurate local weather available, the date, time and alarm clock all on a LED auto-dimming display. Need I mention phone charger?

Alarm clock bonus

So this story is kind of funny…and then not-so funny.

The alarm clock Tom and I use, the one we depend on to get up for work and school is set to a super old daylight savings time. The technology is so outdated that it never acclimated to the new times.

This means that twice a year, daylight savings comes three weeks early and the clock adjusts accordingly. But of course, it’s the wrong time.

It can’t be fixed. We’ve tried. So twice a year we are either super early or super late to church. Good thing Daylight Savings always falls on a weekend or this could be super bad!

It’s empowering to be aware of the weather first thing in the morning but also realize that the alarm clock (yes.,.with snooze button) is quite special.

This device goes right on your nightstand next to your bed and is a multi-purpose gadget. Get the weather, time & date, alarm clock with snooze button all in one.

And wait……

alarm clock and phone charger

Phone charging phenomenon!

I almost forgot to mention. How dare I? You can also charge your phone on this device. Don’t underestimate how happy this is going to make you.

My phone tends to disappear at night. If it’s not charged, it’s usually dead by morning. And that’s if I can even find it at all.

So having a set place to put ones phone at night, on the certified Qi-Charging Pad on my nightstand is pure gold.

What more do you want in life? You’re alarm clock is working, your phone is charged and you know the weather for the day.

You even know the time and date so you don’t forget you have to go to the dentist.

Life is good!

Setup tips & installation for the AcuRite weather forecaster.

I’m hesitant to even mention installation because really there’s not much to do. You take your forecaster out of the box, put in a few batteries and plug it in.

And yes, you need to configure the settings by using the arrows. So simple, my 8-year-old could do it.

Because with 3 young kids, 2 dogs and a cat, I must have simple these days!

Even if you consider yourself a “non-tech” type of person~ trust me, nothing could be easier to use than this AcuRite forecaster.

The only consideration is this: make sure you hang the sensor in a suitable outside location. The sensor needs to be positioned outside 5 feet off the ground and out of direct sunlight. It’s also vital to keep it from direct heat and humidity sources.

To function properly, the sensor also needs to be hung within 165 feet of the display unit.

If you have trees on your property, one idea is to attach to a well-covered tree branch, by using the integrated hang holes or string. The tree will shield the sensor enough sun, heat and moisture.

Final insights…

This device is a lot like your cup of morning coffee.

You don’t realize how badly you need it until you go without. I’m being serious here!

Nothing beats waking up in the morning, knowing the date, time and weather for the day. Especially if you’re one of those type A people like me!

Be that meteorologist you always wanted to be minus the pricey degree! Here you go!

Give a gift that keeps on givings. Yes Christmas but of course, birthdays…don’t you want this device for your birthday?

We need to plan. We thrive on planning. AcuRite helps us plan.

My son is 12 and on the spectrum. Everyday he asks me what the temperature is outside so he can dress accordingly for school. Something like this would encourage a little more independence in that department for him.

It is nice to have a charger on it. I could really use this gadget. I just check my phone for weather but where I live is out in the boonies and if my internet is down so is my phone. We do not get cell service out here. We pay for it but we don’t get it. We rely on wifi to use our phones.
