It’s wonderful spending time as a family living the good life when we can. Fresh from our latest trip to Destin, Florida we are still marveling over this unique piece of the Florida panhandle. So I wanted to share our experience with you in case you want to visit Destin someday. What a vibrant place to visit! The Gulf of Mexico waters in Destin mimic Caribbean waters in clearness and color. Aside from the Florida Keys, I have never witnessed such swirling turquoise waters here in the U.S before. If you haven’t heard of Destin, and I hadn’t prior to this visit, it’s an idyllic spot nestled in the Florida panhandle. Go west of Panama City. Destin is located on a peninsula between the Gulf of Mexico and the Choctawhatchee Bay. This northwest Florida city is part of the Emerald Coast.
