The last time I teamed up with JORD wood watches, friends who saw the post on Facebook were texting me asking how to win.
I responded that it was quite simple. The first person to get two dozen chocolate chip cookies (still warm if possible) to my house wins.
That was a joke, folks.
But obviously they were swooning with delight over my wood watch wanting one, too.

But perhaps my favorite bit about the Sier is the $60 replacement metal mesh band in rose gold that comes with the watch.
It’s so easy to swap out the white leather band for the rose gold metal mesh band for a brand new look! It just depends on what I’m wearing that day or the mood I’m in.
Nothing could be easier than switching the bands. No tools needed whatsoever. It’s a quick-release pin system that makes the switcharoo simple to do.
Modern and minimalist, the Sier is a stunning addition to your wardrobe. You can’t help but admire how JORD uses raw materials for such elegant and refined design.

The leather band on my SIER feels wonderful on the wrist. Comfortable and chic. The mesh band is equally compelling and comfortable.

My dentist and my JORD watch
And my dentist was marveling over my wood watch. (This was about a week before my Sier arrived.)
“Wow, he says…a wood watch, you don’t see those very often. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a wood watch before. I like it”
He had lots of questions. Not sure how he thought I was going to respond with a mouth filled with cotton balls but there you have it.
Still, his admiration was clear.
In fact, my kid’s pediatrician had the exact same reaction when she saw me wearing the Sier watch the following week. Raving compliments from her!
I guess doctors tend to be observant so looking at your wrist is normal.
The only time I take off my JORD watch…
It just depends on the look I’m going for the day.
Because if you’re anything like me, you like to be on the pulse of time.
Nothing worse than forgetting to put my watch on in the morning and spending the day fumbling in my purse to find my phone to check the time. This happens every 5 minutes, too!
It’s likely that I consult a watch of some sort 50 times a day, certainly not less.
I still remember my 5th Grade band teacher commenting on how often I looked at the clock during my 30 minute flute lesson.
He thought I was just precise. Perhaps “squirrelly 5th grader” would be a better description.

Men and JORD wood watches
Clearly, he wanted one, too. I ended up relenting so he ordered his own JORD Watch.
Men…
Funny that it took him longer to select his watch than me when surfing the JORD website. Again. Men!
After much deliberation, he went with the Frankie Ebony & Gold watch.
I’ll admit, it looks great and blends nicely with all his outfits. This is his first watch that isn’t sporty in style.
It’s minimalist design and black canvas highlighted with gold is both elegant and chic for a night out (as in Applebee’s), church, or just gathering with friends and family.
The Frankie Ebony & Gold Watch compliments him dressed up as a sports coach but can blend just as easily with casual dress.
Last timely thoughts….
