homemade pecan pie

There’s no doubt that the best part of fall is the food. Okay. Fine. All the leaves changing color with bearable outdoor temperatures comes close.

But back to the food.

Can’t you taste all the savory scents including pumpkin, apple, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves among others?

Now answer this question: Which nut is synonymous with fall?

Drum roll please….we both know it’s the perfect pecan! Who can resist pecans for snacking and fall baking?

So I am ecstatic for today’s winner who’s going to score big with this scrumptious food sampling from Sunnyland Farms, a premier nut farm hailing from Albany, Georgia that includes:

1.) The Classic Pecan Trio ARV $65.95 2.) Their fabulous Pecan Pie $48.95 and 3.) 2 Loaves of their unbelievably moist Pumpkin Bread. ARC $38.75

We’re talking Gourmet Food! ARV $155 total value.

How to enter to win!

Just scroll down to the end of this post and fill out the SweepWidget form. Please use an email address that you regularly check so you can be reached if you win!

slice of homemade pecan pie

Pecan paradise with the Classic Pecan Trio…..#313  3 tins 2lb 3oz total – $65.95 ($1.88/oz)

What’s your favorite nut? Mine has been and always will be the elusive pecan.

Pecans are a party that melts in your mouth. They’re even good for you as they are considered heart-healthy food! We all win when we snack on pecans. Real food for real people that’s homegrown in Georgia.

Nothing beats the taste of fresh pecans grown on a real farm. I can’t even describe the taste. The crunch. The smell.

But the Classic Pecan Trio gives us what we all want with including one tin of raw mammoth halves, one tin of toasted and salted halves and one tin of chocolate-covered pecans.

If you sit down and eat the chocolate covered pecans in one sitting, no judgment here. They are so good!

Serve the Classic Pecan Trio at your next party and your guests will be still raving about your party a year from now.

That’s because it caters to the salt lover, the salt avoider, and the sweet-toothed guest. But stand guard! Because if you don’t, one guest is likely to gobble down the entire tin of the chocolate pecans and we can’t have that.

I was kidding….sort of.

Classic Pecan trio

Gifting the Classic Pecan Trio

I can think of no better way to say “I love you” or at least “you are one of my favorite people” then gifting the Classic Pecan Trio from Sunnyland Farms to someone special in your life.

Maybe it’s your favorite aunt or your child’s teacher who has gone the extra mile in these strange times to help your kid succeed.

The ideal gift for the minimalist in your life who doesn’t want more stuff.

How about your in-laws who have everything? I can promise you they don’t want anymore picture frames, candles or socks.

Pass on the flannel shirt they’ll never wear and give the gift of Gourmet Food. Always appreciated and never wasted!

Better still….maybe they’ll even open the Classic Pecan Trio while you’ve over visiting and you’ll also get a luxury snack. Just kidding!

Besides, the packaging is gorgeous. Three stacked silver tins with a green ribbon tying them together. Such presentation!

Be the boss of the year and give The Classic Pecan Trio to your employees who deserve it this season. Buy in bulk (case of 4) and only pay $1.66/oz. You can always keep one for yourself. No one will ever know!

case of two pecan pies

Pecan Pie Party! #97 One Georgia Grove Pecan Pie – $48.95 ($3.06/oz)

#99 Two Georgia Grove Pecan Pies – $69.75 ($2.18/oz)

So this is my advice.

Order two pecan pies from Sunnyland Farms and eat one right now. Then serve the other pie for Thanksgiving and tell your guests you baked this yourself.

That was another bad joke, folks!

But seriously, who cares who baked the pie as long as it’s delicious? I love pecan pie and if you’re a blog reader I bet you do, too.

If you do buy two pies, you will save quite a bit bringing the price down to $2.18 an ounce.

The Sunnyland Farms pie tastes homemade but is not too sweet if you know what I mean. I don’t like pies that are too sticky, syrupy, and overly sweetened which this pie isn’t.

It boasts just the right flavor and texture. Each 10″ pie will serve 8 adults with generous portions. More if you are feeding kids because their pieces don’t need to be as big.

Here’s a tip: serve with vanilla bean ice cream and you can cut the pieces even smaller and maybe….just maybe have a little leftover for breakfast the next day!

Pecan pie presentation

Pecan Pie Presentation!

Sunnyland Farms Pecan Pies are sure to stun with their stellar presentation.

The pecans on the top! Holy moly. As their pies are saturated with over 2 cups of pecan pieces grown right in Georgia you will feel satisfied. Nothing beats fresh Georgia-grown pecans.

In fact, no one is blaming you if you choose to eat a Sunnyland Farms Pecan Pie for dinner. It happens!

But Thanksgiving is special. It’s the one holiday that somehow has dodged all the pressure to buy high-end gifts.

It’s the time to settle down, relax and enjoy time with friends and family while eating pie, of course.

No one is denying that the Thanksgiving meal is the best meal of the year. Turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, and green bean casserole. Yes. Yes. And yes!

But the pie is the highlight of the evening. Everyone wants to know what the pie selection is even before dinner is served!

Treat your guests right with a Sunnyland Farms Pecan Pie and no one is going home hungry!

pumpkin bread

Pumpkin bread to please….#491 – 2 14oz loaves – 1lb 12oz total – $38.75 ($1.21/oz)

The 3 o’clock slump is real. Sometimes it gets so bad one needs a full-blown siesta on a hammock.

But other times, one realizes they can get by with a cup of tea and a piece of pumpkin bread. But not just any pumpkin bread will do. We’re talking about Sunnyland Farms Pumpkin bread.

The kind of pumpkin bread that will leave drool all over your keypad as you attempt to enter this contest! That kind!!

Also the kind that gets you through the 3 o’clock slump at work paired with a cup of pumpkin-spiced tea. Pure bliss!

You might even consider yourself the type of person who doesn’t “do” crumbs. You know exactly what I mean. One scoops up and devours every last crumb on the plate because the pumpkin bread is that good!

Not one bit of this pumpkin bread will go to waste. You might even eat the whole loaf in one sitting despite that fact that the label says there are 14 servings in one loaf.

Quite honestly, one loaf seems like it should be one serving but that’s just the opinion of a very hungry mother!

Fall pumpkin bread

Pumped on Sunnyland Farms Pumpkin Bread!!

I’d rather have pumpkin bread than a donut~ and that’s saying a lot! In fact, my kids agree. They absolutely gobble this bread down.

My 4-year-old son said he thought this pumpkin bread was better than pumpkin pie. From the mouth of babes, I guess.

My husband has to fight for his share of the loaf.

Truly, I have never sampled pumpkin bread that was this moist. Moist on a level you can hardly imagine, pumpkin bread that literally melts in your mouth.

And. The. Spices. Scrumptious. Sunnyland Farms Pumpkin Bread is seasoned to perfection.

Of course, you can bake pumpkin bread yourself. But other times, I like to leave baking to the experts and spoil the family with fabulous food!

Freshly baked pumpkin bread

Finally….

Sometimes product testing is so difficult.

Like when I “have” to sample Gourmet Food from Sunnyland Farms. But you know you have a winner when your family members are fighting over bread. Fighting in a fun, kind of way!

But I love gifting food because everybody eats and it takes up zero cabinet/closet space.

Even better is gifting food grown and made right here in the USA! Sunnyland Farms is a 1,760 acre Georgia pecan farm that has been family-run since 1948.

Sunnyland Farms is unique in that they are a farm and manufacturer located in Albany, Georgia. Every product is managed on-site with close attention to detail.

And just in case you weren’t aware, Georgia pecans are the best in the world. Tom and I usually take a yearly drive to Florida and we never miss the chance to pick up fresh pecans when passing through Georgia.

Sunnyland Farm’s customer service is stellar and all their products ship free!

Besides, don’t you like knowing exactly where your food is coming from? Sunnyland Farms only boasts the best with the highest quality and freshest nut mixes, dried fruits and of course, delectable pecans!

So whether you are looking to snack, bake, cook or give the perfect gift, Sunnyland Farms is a great place to start!

Hi Laura! Today I came to this site to finish off doing entries, as I’d previously had 31, and the site indicated that I’d reached the maximum number of entries. As everything was unchecked upon login I proceeded to enter the new secret code you replaced the old Bling with (Bling was not accepted on previous days) and the new code worked. Then, upon trying to do another entry, the following message appeared: “This entry has been flagged by our anti-spam system. (2)” I don’t know how to actively do and receive a full number of entries or even finish off unfinished entries. Confused here. That aside, may our Thanksgiving Day celebrations be filled with gratitude, family and joy.

Ugh! Sorry this happened Betsy and thank you for letting me know. The widget is intended to only block spammer and/or cheaters but somehow it’s blocking legit people. I think I fixed it. For this contest, since you were blocked, I can just enter the points in manually, but in the future you should have no problems. If you do, please let me know so I can fix it! Can’t fix a problem I don’t know about. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Lots of cooking and baking going on around here!!

Thank you Laura. I’ve completed all of the entries now, with my entry count showing 36. Please make any adjustments if that isn’t the full total for all entries. We’ll be spending Thanksgiving with our youngest daughter’s family in Missouri this year; and, I’m very excited to see our 3 beautiful granddaughters! As this is your 1st Thanksgiving with 4 adorable children, it’s a special time of gratitude and celebration for your family. Enjoy!
