Sunnyland Farms $106 “nutty” giveaway! 2 winners!!

This post may contain affiliate links. If you make a purchase through one of my links, I'll make a small commission at no additional cost to you. Thank you for your support!
Pecan mix from Sunnyland Farms

I’m a total nutcase. But you already know that if you’re a regular reader!

Seriously. I eat nuts nearly everyday. Sometimes as a snack; but when in a hurry they are my lunch protein.

Nuts are tasty and useful. Salads, snacks, pies, casseroles. Baking and cooking. Desserts and dinner. I even top my stir fry with a few cashews. How about you? Nut fan?

If so, I have excellent news today because the grand prize is the Home Box Royal Mix from Sunnyland Farms that includes pecans, cashews, almonds, Brazil nuts and hazelnuts. That’s 3 lb 12 oz of glorious nuts….a $60.55 value!

And it gets even sweeter because the winner also gets the Pecan Lovers Combo with 1 lb 6 oz of nuts that is a pure party in your mouth. ARV $45.60!

All beautifully presented in an adorable gift box, you get 6 pecan pralines, 5 ounces of simply cinnamon & honey kissed pecans each, and 5 ounces of Sunnyland Farms signature milk chocolate choco-pecans.

Please don’t ask which is my favorite as they are all scrumptious. Gourmet nuts.

A fabulous $106 prize win! And it gets sweeter as there are 2 winners today! Yes, I said 2 winners!

Are you wiping the drool off your mouth yet?

How to enter to win!

Just fill out the SweepWidget form at the end of this post! I hope it’s you!!!

Sunnyland Farms pecan lovers mix

Not all nuts are created equal….

There are certain foods that going the cheap route simply don’t work. Chocolate, cheese and nuts fit into this category.

Lower grade means a lot lower quality and I can’t go there! You get what you pay for in nuts. It’s worth the splurge.

I love ALDI and so many of their products. But their nuts? Even in the sealed bags, they taste stale. The salted ones are way too salty. The unsalted ones lack flavor and crunch.

Grocery store nuts in bulk? Don’t do it. Prior to COVID, I found myself buying bulk nuts at the store. Guess what I discovered in the bottom of the bin when scooping out my nuts?

Weevils. And lots of them. The bin was loaded in disgusting weevils. There were a few other bugs, too that I dare not utter. I don’t like protein quite this much!

Sunnyland Farms nuts are the most fresh tasting nuts I’ve ever had the pleasure of sampling. Salted and roasted to perfection.

Quality over quantity.

My son the nut “expert”

Sunnyland Farms packages their products in style. Gourmet food of the highest caliber presented elegantly.

When the packaged arrived I duly opened it with my son. Then I promptly hid it away before my husband would stumble across it.

Naturally he’d devour the nuts without consulting me how would I snap a few photo’s for this post?

But it was my son who surprised me. He was hungry and looking for a snack. I offered him cashews, peanuts or almonds from the pantry. He refused all three demanding instead what he termed as “the pretty nuts.”

At first I had no clue as to what he was referring too. Then it dawned on me. He wants my new nuts from Sunnyland Farms! Like father, like son, what can I say?

Funny that a 3-year-old can spot quality when he sees it! He devoured his bowl of the Royal Mix.

Sunnyland Farms nuts are delicious nuts from an all-American family company established in 1948. Nothing beats fresh and wholesome pecans from a real pecan farm situated on 1,760 acres of land in Georgia, the pecan capitol of the world.

The 3 o’clock slump

It happens nearly everyday. The 3 o’clock slump. Since I get up at 6:30 am each day, by 3 pm, I hit a wall.

Plus….I’m starving. I can’t justify dinner at 3 pm. That doesn’t work since the kids aren’t even home yet and I couldn’t possibly have it ready.

But my blood sugar is dropping fast and I need a snack to get me through until a reasonable dinnertime of 5 pm.

What to do? Of course, it’s tempting to raid the kids Halloween bags (save me from myself). But is that a good idea? Nope.

After the sugar high, the plunge downhill is real! When my two girls come home from school, I need more energy than ever to make it through the latter half of the day.

Nuts. Sunnyland nuts. Bingo. I can do this!

Gift giving with Sunnyland Farms

The holidays are approaching quicker than I’d like to think they are! I have friends who not only have their Christmas tree up, but it’s been up for a few weeks now!

But gift giving is such a joy. Why not spoil a few people with a gift they’ll actually use. Most of us have enough “stuff”…right? We have way more than what we need or want.

Food gifts are the best! How about the kids’ teachers, bus drivers, music teachers? Consider hostess gifts. Moreover, it’s always nice to bring a food gift to share with the group.

Finally, Aunts and uncles. Grandparents.. So hard to shop for! Talk about people who don’t want more junk.

No more picture frames. No candles. No more ugly shirts that don’t fit. I hear you! I feel your pain.

And don’t forget about neighbors, employees, friends and extended family.

Nuts are the obvious choice for a splendid gift. Who wouldn’t want a quick, healthy and crunchy snack from Sunnyland Farms?

But I’m saving the best for last here. We live in this COVID world. So I’ll have you know that everything from Sunnyland Farms is wrapped in plastic.

First off, the pecans are wrapped in plastic bags. Moreover, the pralines individually wrapped. Finally, the Heavenly Nuts contained in one big plastic bag.

No fear food!

cashews

Sunnyland Farms is the creme de la creme of nuts!

I eat so many pounds of nuts per year that I am well versed in nuts. Sunnyland Farms nuts are huuuuuuuge! Mammoth. Gigantic. You get the drift! Don’t ask me why, they just are.

The star of the show are their stellar pecans. It took every ounce of self-control not to pick all the pecans out of the box. But I rose to to challenge.

Never have I tasted such delights. Big, beautiful, bold pecans that melt in your mouth.

Most nuts that you buy at the store in bulk or even in the sealed bags are way to salty for my liking! My tongue rebels. Likewise for any nut tasting stale or rancid. Ewww.

But I do like a little salt. Sunnyland Nuts were perfectly salted. Just lightly. Besides being perfectly roasted as well. A party in your mouth I tell you!

You will not be disappointed in their nuts. They offer a wide selection for personal use or for gift giving.

Sunnyland Farms is simply the creme de la creme of delicious nuts! Enjoy.
