Picked one of these sunny squash up at a roadside stand for 75 cents. I know, how did you guess. Right? Anyhow, it is the BEST squash ever. Truly delicious. Sweet with a hint of cinnamon flavor in the background and of course all the nuttiness of squash. I was told it’s a relatively new hybrid but expect to see more of it. Being lazy squash cooks, we roasted it, halfed it and ate it right out of the shell. Smooth and creamy.  Reminded me a little of pumpkin pie minus all those issues of, um, you know, calories, crust bah. You simply have to try one of these if you can find one yet.
