Not so long ago, I attended a vitamin and mineral conference {those really do exist} where we were told to always buy the darkest produce on the shelf. Why? We were told the darker the produce, the more nutrients it has. It makes me think of iceberg lettuce versus romaine lettuce. I mean, which kind of lettuce does McDonald’s use?
And I think I will have that second piece of dark chocolate after all….
