Prepare for insects

Home gardeners like us need to be on insect patrol. Insects fall into two categories- apparent and unnoticed. Apparent pest include pill (sow) bugs, tomato hornworms, potato beetles, stinkbugs, and powdery mildew fungus. Bleh. The unnoticed category is even scarier because they can go unnoticed until they have practically killed all your garden plants. They include spider mites, loopers, nematodes, cutworms, and most fungus diseases.
