Plastic Juice Containers

I know you probably just recycle those plastic jugs your juice comes in which is fine but Jim {a gardener in his 80’s, whoa, we can learn a lot from him} shared this tip with us. He cuts them into about thirds which you can see from the picture. And he buries each one around his plants. This plastic barrier keeps the water in place and the liquid fertilizer right where he wants it. Even better?!? No waste of fertilizer or water. Genius. Pure genius.
