Picking Strawberries

This post may contain affiliate links. If you make a purchase through one of my links, I'll make a small commission at no additional cost to you. Thank you for your support!
Yesterday I went strawberry picking for the first time this year. It never ceases to amaze me that people settle for berries by just walking along and plucking “the big ones” from the top, without ever bending down. Now I grew up picking strawberries on a farm. It’s practically my profession! You have to get down on the ground and look for the berries hiding in the straw and weeds. Pick up the plant leaves and look underneath. That’s where the gems are.
