Honeybees visit tens of thousands of flowers in order to make a single pound of honey and, in doing so, pass the pollen from one plant to another thus transferring pollen. I’ve seen a ton of bees this year (they’re back!) hovering over my basil plants. And I love honey. And unlike wasps, they didn’t sting my 9 times on my anniversary. Mostly on my butt. Ouch.
