Gourmet nuts + dreamy chocolate delights with Sunnyland Farms 3 winner giveaway!

chocolate covered pecans

My New Year’s Resolution is to eat 1.) something sweet and 2.) something salty each day.

Does that count? Notice I didn’t mention anything about mac & cheese.

Seriously…eating healthy can be a balance of both worlds! Mostly healthy snacking with a twist of sweetness!

Welcome Sunnyland Farms! The non-stop party in your mouth. Gourmet nuts please!

Today’s prizes are in random order as they are equally mouth-watering.

The first winner gets the 1lb 15 oz chocolate carousel. ARV $57.90. The second winner gets the Heavenly Mix Nut Blend in a tin ARV $49.25. The third winner gets a tin Raw Mammoth Pecan Halves! ARV $48.80.

If you haven’t compared a fresh farm pecan from Georgia to a store-bought pecan, you’ll be amazed at the difference in taste, weight, and nutrition.

Sunnyland Farm’s raw pecans and other toasted nuts are naturally gluten-free, and have no added sugar.

HOW TO ENTER TO WIN!

Just fill out the SweepWidget Form at the very end of this post!

gourmet nuts
Nuts are a great addition to any charcuterie board during the holidays and the rest of the year.

Gourmet nuts with Sunnyland Farms – amped up snacking!

Our famiy consists of “healthy” eaters with the occasional indulgence. Nuts are a healthy snacking staple in our household!

Especially during the holidays when it’s go go go. From shopping to doctor’s appointments to the school concert, morning to dusk, snacks are needed for energy.

If you eat a donut, you know the end result. A slump for sure! But chomp on a few nuts and you have some real fuel to keep away the fatigue.

There’s not always time for a full-blown meal. Sometimes a few cut-up veggies, a handful of various nuts, and a chocolate treat will have to do.

In fact, all four nuts in the heavenly mix (AKA healthy mix) rank in the top ten nuts you should be eating!

Besides flavor, almonds have tons of fiber. One scientific study concluded that almond eaters shed pounds easier.

Macadamia nuts have a high amount of heart-healthy monounsaturated fats which is beneficial to the cardiovascular system. Macadamia nut consumption reduces LDL cholesterol, lowering the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Cashews have a delicious, creamy texture, but are also packed with nutritional benefits. They’re a great addition to many meals and pair well with both savory and sweet dishes.

Cashews are a good source of protein, vitamin K, magnesium, and manganese, crucial to support bone health. Moreover, cashews may improve blood fat levels and reduce blood pressure.

The chocolate carousel will keep your head spinning with delight!

The Sunnyland Farms milk chocolate carousel boasts three favorites including 1lb of pecan caramel clusters, 9oz of choco-pecans, and 6oz of buttery almond toffee. An elegant gift that is much appreciated.

Personally, I can’t decide which one I like best so I eat one of each when I crave chocolate. The chocolate dipped pecans go down way too easily.

But the chocolate pecan caramel clusters are earth shattering! And then the toffee. Don’t you love toffee too? I could eat them all in one sitting. But I don’t because I believe in sharing.

Except when I don’t believe in sharing. As in….the kids. I confess there are times I indulge in my chocolate carousel when the kids are at school.

When they are home they have the audacity to ask for a piece! With a mouth full of toffee I tell them to find some ice cream in the freezer instead.

Imagine this chocolate carousel at the next party you attend. Envision it sitting on the counter as you enter a friend’s/family’s home. How excited will you get? Exactly!

Be warned! The clusters also come in dark chocolate and I won’t insult your intelligence to tell you how delicious they are.

Did you know? Sunnyland Farm’s 1,700-acre Pecan farm was originally purchased by Will Willson in 1928. Today, they are a fourth-generation, family-owned farm.

charcuterie board

Gourmet nuts & charcuterie boards with Sunnyland Farms

You already know that charcuterie boards are the wave of the future.

Staples always include a fun spread including cured meats (prosciutto, bacon, salami), a variety of cheeses, crackers, nuts, fruits, vegetables, and drum roll please…chocolate.

The best charcuterie board is going to have Sunnyland Farms nuts and chocolate on it! Please don’t blame me if those delectables get snatched first. It happens!

So many occasions require charcuterie boards. Not only all the major holidays but nearly every football game among other sporting events. Not to mention birthday parties, baby and wedding showers.

Charcuterie boards bring the food to the party minus the hassles of cooking. Certainly there’s nothing worse than trying to keep food warm for a party.

After all, who can resist a humongous, crunchy, fresh, and tasty pecan? Additionally, pecans homegrown in Georgia, the birthplace of delicious pecans.

No charcuterie board is the same after it has met Sunnyland Farm’s fresh and tasty gourmet nuts and irresistible chocolate treats!

Did You know? There are over 500 different types of pecans. And pecans freeze beautifully! Freezing pecans also preserves the flavor and oil content inside.

Gourmet nuts – salty or non-salted & toasted to perfection…

Not all nuts are created equal.

I shop at ALDI to save money on eggs, dairy products, and meat. But I’ll pass on ALDI nuts.

They aren’t good nuts. They lack flavor, are tiny and taste stale. If you buy the salted nuts it’s as if you are swallowing large amounts of salt water. No thanks to puny, tasteless nuts.

Sunnyland Farms have non-salted nuts and salted nuts. Either way, their nuts are toasted to perfection. Toasted nuts taste like dessert to me. Life is on the more flavorful side with Sunnyland Farms.

Some of us are watching our salt intake. You might want to order the no-salt nuts Sunnyland Farms offers.

But if you get the salted variety don’t fret that they will be too salty. Sunnyland Farms gourmet nuts are salted to perfection!

Just a pinch of salt to give their fresh nuts the ideal flavor. Never that “swallowing sea water” vibe.

No doubt you’ve also sampled nuts that were overly toasted. They taste burnt and leave a nasty aftertaste, too. Yuck!

Sunnyland Farms nuts are always toasted to perfection.

mixed nuts

A heavenly mix of nuts….

There’s a reason this mix is called the heavenly mix. Where else can you get an elegant blend of macadamia nuts, jumbo cashews, mammoth Georgia pecan halves, and whole almonds all in one place?

You are I can’t even talk about what macadamia nuts cost at the grocery store by the pound. Too painful!

The heavenly mix is the Rolls-Royce of nut mixes. When I say the cashews are huge, that is the understatement of the year. I’ve never even seen cashews this big anywhere else in my whole life.

Technically the pecans are pecan halves, but those pecan halves are bigger than whole pecans I’ve purchased from the grocery store.

And the almonds melt in your mouth~ they are that scrumptious! Toasted and salted to perfection.

Besides, you know how nut mixes go. Everyone picks through the mix eating the “better” nuts first leaving the lackluster nuts behind. Then one is stuck with a bag of “unpopular” nuts and raisins.

So that’s the trick. The heavenly mix doesn’t have “better” nuts. All four nuts are equally fancy so your mouth won’t bulk about whatever nut you pop in first.

That is why one can eat these nuts without looking because they are all tasty and fresh. Macadamia, pecan, almond, or cashew, divinely delicious nuts to make your mouth ecstatic.

Final thoughts…

Our third winner gets the raw mammoth pecan halves. Mammoth is absolutely the right word for these gourmet nuts.

Pecans are absolutely packed with antioxidants. The USDA includes pecans in the list of top 20 foods for antioxidant capacity. So bring on the Sunnyland Farms pecans!

The mineral content is also pretty impressive for those of us obsessed with nutrient-dense foods.

Pecans contain a staggering 245-percent of the daily value of manganese, a mineral important for heart health.

You can also get 65-percent of your needed copper from pecans, along with 33-percent of your needed zinc and magnesium.

Who needs vitamins when you have Sunnyland Farms?

Finally, let’s talk about free shipping. I love free shipping and can bet you do as well. Nothing worse than ordering a tin of pecans and paying an exorbitant amount in shipping. Bleh.

With Sunnyland Farms no matter how big or small your order is, shipping is always free and quick. Hurrah!

If you order one tin of pecans and regret not ordering more, go ahead and take the plunge. Order tins in packs of 4, 6, or 9 to bless family and friends with. Even better? the price per ounce goes down.

So if you order from Sunnyland Farms, you will be back for life. That’s how fabuous their nuts are!

Do you bake with pecans? Sunnyland Farms pecans are the best for baking!
