Size always matters!
Because when the package arrived I kept marveling how each one was the perfect size to display in my home.
There’s this granite display ledge that I dress up for every season in my kitchen. I love to decorate and go wild about holiday decor in particular.
And yet fall arrived and I had nothing special to display on my ledge.
What to do? Panic? Nope. Reach out to Desert Steel for help instead.
Of course they had the answer. Mini luminaries. Always the perfect decoration!
With a height ranging from 7.5 to 13 inches, they are delectable for display minus the usual pumpkin/gourd slime and seeds.
No mold in site. To be used year after year for enjoyment not to mention decoration bragging rights!
Versatility of mini pumpkins & gourds!
If you’re more of a “pumpkin person” and want a set of three pumpkins, that’s your call.
Or maybe you want two squatty gourds that match and a third gourd that’s a bit taller to spice up your life. Again, your choice.
Because all three display pieces are big enough for a vibrant fall display, but small enough to go anywhere.
On your mantel? Check. On your kitchen countertop? Check? How about in your bathroom for fun? Absolutely!
On your brand-new reclaimed wood floating shelves? Bingo. These will look stunning!
Your front porch? Walkway? In a garden pot? All great options to display this tiny and tasteful set.
And there’s no doubt this 3-piece set would make for a monumental table centerpiece all aglow!
And how about wedding centerpieces in the middle of those round tables? Swoon with delight.
Why Halloween decor is a no-go here!
Quite honestly…even the day after Halloween all those skeletons, bats, black cats and cobwebs look tacky.
And Halloween decor before October just isn’t done here!
So you get a few weeks of display before it all really should come down and go back into storage.
I prefer decor that can go from the beginning of September all the way through Thanksgiving for some longevity.
Fall decor! And this is where Desert Steel always has your back.
Never tacky, always classy Desert Steel hand creates style to invigorate your indoor or outdoor spaces for whatever season of life.
Copper finish for the win
Nothing against neon orange but that went out with the 80’s. Or at least we can hope!
Each of these luminaries have a dark, shiny copper tinge to them. Kind of like a rustic penny!
But unlike a penny, these mini luminaries don’t fade or rust. They are in it for the long haul.
Realistic and lifelike, the stems and leaves mimic nature as it is. And they’ll blend in with whatever style of decor you already embrace.
Whether that’s rustic farmhouse, modern chic, mid-century modern or industrial to name a few, this 3-piece set is going to add to that ambiance.
No clash of color or style!

My last illuminating tips!
Even across the room, I see them flickering and enjoy the ambiance they provide and warmth they suggest.
Of course, you can’t go wrong with tea candles with notes of apple, spice, pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger or any autumn or fall scent!
My best tip: These luminaries get hot when lit for more than just a few minutes. So when you blow them out use an oven mitt. Gently grasp the stem of the pumpkin/gourd and pull straight up to blow out your candle.
And definitely use caution and an oven mitt if these candles have been lit for over 30 minutes!
I think the glow and lovely flame this sets provides calms my husband when he’s watching the Buffalo Bills play (or usually loose)!
This set of three definitely makes my house cozier and adds a hint of warmth on cool, fall days!
One last silly joke..okay, five more silly fall jokes then!
