Assembly is family fun!
Be aware that assembly is required for this piece of furniture. It is shipped flat in a box.
As with all projects, you don’t attempt assembly when you are in a hurry or in a bad mood. Make sure you aren’t rushed to take your time and read the instruction manual carefully.
It’s not hard to put together. I think the manual said it would take 45 minutes but it took my husband over an hour and a half. He was letting the kids help which slowed him down. But it’s a good learning experience for all!
It’s rare to get pieces that don’t require assembly shipped to your doorstep, so this is normal. Assembled pieces typically cost 3-5 times more as well so be mindful of that. GiraTree saves you a ton of money by having you assemble.
As with any project, my advice is to get all the bits and pieces out of the box and make sure you have everything you need. There’s nothing worse than to be in the middle of a project and realize that you are misses bolts or screws, that will be frustrating!
It’s also good to double-check so that you can contact the company immediately if there’s an issue.
All in all, putting this dresser on a rainy Sunday afternoon was a fun project and the kids enjoyed helping Tom!

One of my favorite features of this dresser is the drawers. They glide effortlessly since they roll to perfection. Heavy drawers that are a struggle to open and shut? No thanks.
Especially if you have young kids, kids need drawers that open and close easily. If they don’t, you end up with a broken dresser.
Each drawer is equal in size. Socks, t-shirts, and undergarments will not get lost in the shuffle with these drawers. Drawers that are not too big and not too small. Just the right storage size.
