Now more than ever, you want to know where your food is sourced. Organic food rich in nutrients. Food that you proudly grew with the best fertilizers on planet earth.
It’s time to put trace nutrients back into the soil with Neptune’s Harvest organic fertilizers and amendments. Healthy and well-fertilized plants produce more nutrient- dense produce.
And in the latest news I’ve read, due to shortages, it might get tough to attain resources such as tomatoes, lettuce, celery, peppers and bananas in the coming months. Not much I can do about the bananas, but as for the rest I am all in.
How about you? Going to grow a garden this year with Neptune’s Harvest?
Support a family company in Neptune’s Harvest!

So you have to watch this short clip about Neptune’s Harvest! You are going to love those Gloucester, Massachusetts accents!
Don’t hesitate to call Neptune’s Harvest if you have any product questions. They know their products inside and out and can direct you to the right amendment to make your gardens flourish.
Thrive organically…..no harsh chemicals! Be more independent of the grocery store this year! It’s the year of the organic vegetable garden after all!
Talking with Ann over the phone cleared up a few fertilizer mysteries for me. I learned so much from our quick chat! You will, too!
Plants with a purpose
I invested some serious time investigating various fertilizers and different companies.
And when I stumbled upon Neptune’s Harvest, I knew they had the products I was seeking. Exactly what I wanted to use to enrich and pamper my soil after years of depletion.
I grew up working on a produce farm and I categorically refuse to use chemically laden products in my garden. Quick summery: Do they work? Yes. Are they bad? Yes.
Are you then eating food produced from extremely bad and toxic chemicals. Again yes.
Let’s dodge the chemical bullet and use Neptune’s Harvest Organic Fertilizers instead to make our plants thrive!
Neptune’s Harvest Organic Fertilizer should be used to build the quality of the soil and feed the biological life, too.
Neptune’s Harvest products not only increase yield, but also the quality of whatever you grow. Vegetables, herbs, and fruit will be very nutrient dense.
Critically important when replacing trace minerals in your soil.
Let’s talk about what Neptune’s Harvest can offer you!
1.) Fish & seaweed blend 2-3-1- makes up to 128 gallons of fertilizer!
Okay, maybe not all my problems but most of them.
If you’re a longtime reader than you already know Tom and I use fish heads in our garden to promote growth and create the biggest and best tomatoes possible.
The fish heads worked, folks. The year we used them, our tomatoes were the talk of the town.
Neptune’s Harvest has kicked it up a notch with their organic fish/seaweed blend fertilizer.
I am beyond enthused to use the fish & seaweed fertilizer once again in my garden this year now that I know how well it works.
I used them last year for the first time and found the results mind-blowing.
Stats suggest that using this all-purpose fish/seaweed fertilizer on a regular basis not only increases marketable yields but also improves the shelf life of fruits and vegetables.
But it stunned me to learn that fish and seaweed are known to build the natural sugar in plants. You know what that means? Super scrumptious fruits and vegetables this summer.
Plus the increased sugar in the plants will make them less susceptible to insect damage and disease!
Experience transplant shock before? Me too. Fish & seaweed fertilizer is the product for you then.
Usage of fish & seaweed fertilizer also promotes more colorful flowers and foliage making them stronger too. Blooms will be more plentiful, fragrant and longer lasting.
Use the fish & seaweed fertilizer roughly once a week on all your fruit and vegetable crops, trees, flowers, shrubs and even indoor plants to replenish and nourish!
I used the fish & seaweed fertilizer on all my indoor exotic plants this past winter and they are flourishing!
And if you’re one of those “must have a lush and beautiful lawn” people, use the fish & seaweed fertilizer once a month during the growing season to keep it a vibrant green.
Even better? No yellow flags on your lawn indicating toxicity for 24 hours.
The fish & seaweed fertilizer is safe for you, your kids and your pets. No harsh chemicals that could burn your lawn.
How about a drum roll please because the fish & seaweed fertilizer repels deer, too!
2.) Tomato & Veg Formula 2-4-2
But even if you don’t win, if you buy the tomato & veg formula, you still come out a winner. Trust me.
I flatter myself that I am rather famous for my homegrown tomatoes, especially my delicious cherry tomatoes and some of the heirloom varieties. Neighbors have said my tomatoes taste just like candy, unlike any “grocery store” tomato they’ve ever sampled.
This is the perfect and complete fertilizer for your tomatoes and in fact, all your vegetables.
Made from fresh fish, seaweed, molasses, yucca extract and humic acids, this formula was uniquely designed for plants with intense growth or “vegging” stages.
If you use the tomato & veg formula expect to see vigorous plants with strong root zones and lush foliage which in turn increases its tolerance to various diseases, temperature and drought.
Big plants produce bigger and more tomatoes. Fact!
For best results: Tomato & Veg Formula should be used in combination with Rose & Flowering Formula as described below:
Part 1: Tomato & Veg during the vegging stage of the plant.
Part 2: Rose & Flowering once buds begin to appear, when flowering begins.
3.) Kelp Meal 12 pound pail – 1-0-2 – multi-purpose plant food
Neptune’s Harvest Organic Kelp Meal (1-0-2) is dried and ground Rock Weed (Ascophyllum Nodosum), which grows in the cold clean waters along the New England coast, and is known as the best marine plant available for agriculture today.
Now I know what you’re thinking….but what does this fabulous soil conditioner smell like? Ground up seaweed. Go figure. Kelp smells and looks like kelp.
Kelp meal should be tilled in the soil before planting or can be top-dressed, incorporated into potting soils, seed beds and composting material.
But yes, to answer your question precise application amounts are given for your consideration right on the bucket. No worries!
Kelp meal is loaded in trace minerals and will not only add organic matter to your soil but will help it retain moisture. I’m depending on my kelp meal to build strong roots in all my plants!
Kelp meal will keep your lawn healthy and green and is perfect to mix with the Neptune’s Harvest crab shell.
Please be mindful that it’s not an all-purpose fertilizer so you’ll want to use it in conjunction with the fish & seaweed fertilizer.
4.) Crab & Lobster Shell 12 pound pail – 5-3-0 – multi-purpose plant food
Next time. Squirrels. Rabbits. Beware. You have met your match. The shell will cut their pads so they’ll leave my bulbs alone.
Time to give those squirrels and rabbits the heads-up that it’s not fine to dig up and eat bulbs. Just one more benefit to using crab & lobster shell in the garden.
And with all the extra time Tom has had with being off from work, he’s been saving our bulbs by sprinkling the crab & lobster shell around the bulbs.
High calcium fertilizers have been shown to benefit bulbs and flowers, too making them bigger and more vibrant in color!
Neptune’s Harvest organic crab & lobster shell is an excellent dry organic plant food, containing Calcium (17%) and Magnesium (1%).
Big bonus spin? Weeds hate calcium. So when you feed your plants crab shell loaded in calcium, you’re nourishing your plants while discouraging weed growth. Yay!
Crab shell should be worked in the soil before planting, or top-dressed. But if you’ve already planted, just sprinkle on top of the soil and around plants and work in with your fingers.
Got slugs? Me too. Crab shell discourages slugs big time. They simply do not like it because it cuts them as they slime along.
And crab & lobster shell might just save your tomatoes this year from blossom-end rot and blight, your roses from black spot and powdery mildew on your squash.
It can be applied to lawns with a broadcast spreader showing amazing results with a healthy and thriving green lawn.
The crab & lobster shell works great with the kelp meal we’ve been talking about as well!
Again, crab & lobster shell is not a complete fertilizer and should be used in conjunction with the fish & seaweed blend for best results.
5.) Hudson Chameleon Hose End Sprayer
Not anymore. Neptune’s Harvest sent me the Hudson Chameleon to make the application of their products even easier.

Let’s talk deer one more time….
Not only do they eat vegetables and fruits, but while they are in my garden, they stomp on plants virtually destroying them.
But deer are vegetarians. So these fish/lobster/crab products are a huge deer deterrent.
Deer hate Neptune’s Harvest products! Good for you. Good for your garden. And if you are fretting over the deer in my yard, don’t worry, they get plenty of food from my pumpkins and leftover apple crop in the fall.
Obviously….I just fertilized my gardens with Neptune’s Harvest products so I have no pictures yet of the bountiful fruits and veggies I’m anticipating this season!
Please stay tuned for pictures that I’ll share with you later in the summer! Until then, happy fertilizing your Victory Garden!
