What is a Real Touch Christmas tree, garland, or wreath?

Aptly named, a Real Touch tree is one that looks as authentic as a live tree cut down in the woods.

Minus the work of cutting the tree down and hauling it to your car. Minus strapping the tree to the roof of your car and watching it fly off at 60 miles an hour. True story. I laughed but Tom was less amused.

Ditto for the garlands and wreaths from Northlight at Christmas Central. As real as it gets.

To the touch, the tree, garland, and wreath all seem like fresh greenery to enliven your indoor space. Decking the house without the messiness of shedding pine. Pine needles hurt your feet! No need to water a faux tree.

In the past, there have been years when I enjoyed going into the woods with my family and cutting down a live tree. Other years, I’m just not up for the work.

It’s so convenient to be able to put up the tree when the kids are all in school and bam, the lights are done too.

With 1452 branch tips, you will find ample space to place all your unique and cherished Christmas ornaments. No worries about sentimental bulbs and ornaments falling off a saggy, weak branch.

Lighting that will light up your life

Real Touch – what a game-changer. A Real Touch tree comes pre-lit. The one sent to me has 650 bright and beautiful white lights.

Lights are equipped with Lamp Lock feature, which makes them replaceable, interchangeable and keeps them from falling out. Can I get an amen? The product also comes with replacement bulbs and spare fuse.

The taxing chore of wrapping the lights around the tree just got eliminated. A Christmas easy button. No need to store extra strands of lights during the off-season either.

No frustration untangling stored strands and replacing a million bulbs before wrapping around the tree.

It’s all done for you. If one bulb burns out, the rest will stay lit!

The 650 mini clear incandescent lights create a warm and inviting ambiance to your dwelling. Surely, this Noble pine will light up any dark corner with its soft and gentle glowing lights.

Multiple Christmas Trees for even more Christmas spirit!

So many of us are getting multiple Christmas trees for our homes to celebrate Christmas. Maybe that includes one “real” tree and one faux tree. Or maybe two or more artificial trees fit your style and space.

The more trees the merrier. A Christmas tree in every room is a sure way to show your Christmas spirit.

Christmas Central has nearly 2000 artificial Christmas Trees to mull over. Digest that thought!

You can search based on your specific needs ~ height, color, width, indoor/outdoor, brand, price, tree profile, bulb type, and any other requirement.

Trees under 2.5 feet tall to trees over 14 feet. Traditional green trees or white trees. Trees in every hue imaginable including pink, purple, blue, yellow, orange, and black.

And how about a gold or silver Christmas Tree? C’mon. It’s time! Gold and silver-themed Christmas decor is a serious trend this year!

I counted 68 tree species to choose from. 68!! You won’t get that kind of species selection in the woods for sure. White lights or colored lights. You select what works for you!

Frosted flocked trees are making a big comeback as well so maybe it’s time to add one to your collection!

I think prelit trees are great. Easy set up and clean up. Your ornaments don’t get sap on them either.

What to do with pumpkins and gourds after the holidays? I put the carved pumpkin in my garden and the squirrels, raccoons, and birds feast on it. when they have eaten all the flesh off the skin, I put it in the compost. Gourds can be dried and become nesting areas for birds in the spring. No – don’t just throw them away.

What we do with pumpkins and gourds after the holidays…
For Halloween we don’t carve the pumpkin, we either draw or paint (washable) faces or scenes on them or we just decorate them with vegetable eyes and noses and silly hats and maybe a scarf. Sometimes they look like witches or cats or just silly clowns. Then, after Halloween, we clean our pumpkins up and turn them into turkeys. My son is pretty good with cutting wood and he made turkey tail feathers, wings and a head and neck. We painted them, affixed them to the pumpkin with nails that are situated in the wood pieces just so. After Thanksgiving, we again clean up our pumpkins and bring them to a friend who brings them to the woods behind her home and, like magic, they disappear. We’ve been doing this for about ten years now and it is always fun.

Beautiful tree! I love this time of year. We would get a real tree every year until maybe 4-5 years ago. Real trees were getting so expensive for low quality, and I got tired of the mess. Our current tree is an “entry-level” tree. This would be a beautiful upgrade.
