Go ahead and laugh at us.

But one of our favorite parts of the day is taking the dogs outside before bed admiring our Desert Steel solar lights.

It’s true!

There’s something magical about solar lights. Strolling about my yard with my dogs in tow gazing at my solar lights…it makes me happy. It also helps me unwind from the stresses of the day.

These are strange times in which we live…are they not?

That’s why I’m thrilled for you and your chance of winning 3 metal solar lights from the wonderful Desert Steel.

It’s time for a bright spot in your life. Or how about 3 bright spots for that matter!

How to enter to WIN!

Simply fill out the SweepWidget form at the end of the post.

*It’s easiest for me to contact you via email or Facebook if you win!

The wonders of red

Red is a warm and positive color. It’s associated with our base needs and will to survive.

An energizing color. Is it not? Strong. Powerful. Bold. Beautiful. That is the color red.

Red invokes our emotions and motivates us to take action. Hopefully, some of that action takes the form of weeding the garden.

So Desert Steel’s red poppy lights will make a monumental improvement to the overall look and feel of your landscape.

And it never ceases to amaze me how Desert Steel mimics real life.

Poppies of course have 4-6 petals each. These Desert Steel solar lights have 6 petals (so they don’t skimp on the details…right!)

The petals are staggered in two layers just like a real poppy flower. Poppies are such a feminine and elegant flower with light flowing petals that dance in the wind.

Spot-on solar lights. Art imitating natural life. But art that doesn’t die or fade in two days like a real poppy would.

Don’t get me wrong. I love my poppies and they grow sporadically around my landscape. But they last a day. Maybe two. Then they are gone.

Desert Steel poppy solar lights will be with you for the ages. Used season after season.

Solar lights can be used indoors or kept outside!

Have you heard? Indoor solar light use is becoming quite a thing. Use them to dress up a hallway or your foyer.

How about at the bottom of your stairs? That snake plant could use a red solar light. Yep. Plop one in the pot for an instant glow.

Or how about those hibiscus plants you winterize each year? Surely they will appreciate being glammed up with a red Desert Steel poppy solar light?

A yellow hibiscus flower with a red poppy solar light? Gorgeous!

Or consider placing them in your outdoor holly bush pots or next to your dwarf spruce spiral topiary? Lovely.

Solar lights are going to look stupendous scattered around your yard and garden, too.

These bright LED lighted solar lights from Desert Steel are the perfect marriage of form and function.

They look just as beautiful as they perform. Super bright. Confession time: I always wander to my sidewalk at night to admire just how bright they are.

Then I make Tom come join me and nod his head in agreement.

Final thoughts….

The only problem with solar lights is that they can become quite addicting.

Take Tom. Over the 15 years we’ve been married, I consider him to be quite rational.  Sane. Levelheaded.

Except when it comes to solar lights. We had one 65 degree day and he spent it arranging our Desert Steel solar lights around the yard. Good thing they are super easy to move!

So once you start collecting~ there’s no stopping you! Especially Desert Steel solar lights because they are so colorful and pretty. Solar lights that will make you happy.

Poppies. Daisies. Coneflowers. You can’t go wrong with Desert Steel. Red, pink, blue, teal, yellow. Eye-popping bold colors to sooth and comfort.

You will love these red poppy solar lights as much as we do resembling poppies in their most stunning form.

I hope you win! Good luck.
