I inherited a peony when we bought my grandmother’s house.

She loved peonies as do I! Do you agree? Such easy and beautiful flowers to grow. They smell so wonderful!

Peonies are a vibrant and feminine flower that come in so many charming colors. Desert Steel must love peonies as well since they unveiled three new peony bird feeders this summer to get your heart thumping.

In fact, Desert Steel is always dreaming up new product in fabulous colors to stimulate the yard and garden.

Bird feeding for the win! The Pink Parfait, Purple Spider or Sunset Peony Bird Feeders, hot off the press from Desert Steel. ARV $60!!!

How to enter to win!

Just fill out the simple SweepWidget form at the end of this post! 3 separate winners today!

Bird feeding is the best with Desert Steel!

These luxurious bird feeders from Desert Steel are not only unique, but sturdy, well-made and in fresh, vibrant colors. No flimsy bird feeders from Desert Steel. Never!

The Pink Parfait bird feeder color is most like the peonies that I grow, but I equally delight in the bold colors of the Sunset and Purple Spider feeders.

Installation is a breeze. Just stick the Pink Parfait and Purple Spider in the ground or hang the Sunset Peony Feeder to a tree or hook. It’s a no-brainer!

And how long until you hear the chirping of the birds enjoying their new buffet? I’d say roughly 10 minutes. At least that’s how long it took our birds.

No doubt, it’s the bright color of the feeders that attract the birds so quickly! Our feathered friends are smart.

  • Peony signifies wealth, elegance, romance and honor.
  • Partially cooked and sweetened petals of peony are consumed as dessert in China!
  • Peonies are the traditional flower to celebrate the 12th anniversary.
  • Deer hate peonies and so do bunnies!
  • Peonies require extra potassium for stem strength and disease resistance.
  • Ants love peonies! They are attracted to the sweet nectar found inside peony buds so they climb inside which helps the flowers open
  • The pink flowers are more fragrant than the maroon flowers.

Bird feeding with Desert Steel!

Why feed the birds with Desert Steel? It’s more of a question of: why not feed the birds?

Not only is bird feeding an activity that’s good for you and your mental health, it’s good for the physical health of the birds.

It doesn’t get any better than feeding the birds with Desert Steel. The best birding bang for your buck out there.

I am de-stressing even now as I hear the chirping birds enjoying their breakfast outside my window. Today, I put some mealworms in my Sunset Peony Feeder. Who knows? Tomorrow? Maybe jelly for a treat!

And you know that bird feeding is a generational activity, anyone from 9 months to 90 is going to have a blast.

But only with a feeder that lasts….from Desert Steel. Bird feeding season after season.

I love Desert Steel’s beautiful, long lasting products that in this case bring a bright pop of color and artistic joy to bird feeding! And, the Baltimore Orioles, which arrived in Texas during April, always welcome grape jelly . . . so it’s nice to see that center cup! 🙂
