Here’s what I really think about Always Eat After 7 PM!
Always Eat After 7 PM is a sustainable plan
The problem? The diet I was following did not allow for carbs. And that was killing me! I love carbs.
Best part about Always Eat After 7 PM? Joel Marion didn’t eliminate all carbs from my life. It’s not a strict diet that is impossible to keep up year after year.
So take this quote from the book to heart!
“Fact is, most diets are extremely narrow with regard to food choices and variety, and many even limit entire macronutrients altogether over the course of the entire program (think low-carb and low-fat diets). Three months with no carbs? No thanks. Such practices not only are entirely unnecessary, but make for a miserable, unsustainable experience.”
From being on the plan, I can tell you this. The Joel Marion plan is sustainable because you won’t feel deprived.
Never do you have to 100% eradicate any type of food. And yes, dessert will still part of your life. Along with healthy smoothies, pancakes and even crepes!
Reflecting backward while looking ahead…
Why?
Again, it comes back to sustainability. You can do this! You can keep it up.
“Bestselling author, Joel Marion, is a fitness expert and nutritionist debunking the myths underlying traditional dieting and offers a simple, highly effective weight loss program.”
“The most challenging times to curb hunger are just before bed and in the morning. By following the Always Eat After 7PM program, you have the most willpower to stay on the diet because you are eating during the hours when you are most hungry. This also puts you into both intermittent fasting increasing testosterone and your metabolism, while putting you into ketosis. “
Don’t underestimate the power of IF! It does work. Give it a try.
And the recipes. Two more from Always Eat After Eat 7 PM that I’ve tried since last post are the teriyaki meatballs and the lemon poppy seed crepes. Scrumptious! These meatballs will go on your monthly meal rotation for sure.
No one is depriving themselves of good food at my house, I can promise you that!
