Good thing’s come in 3’s!
So much good in life comes in sets of 3’s….starting with the Trinity! But it also applies to succulents. I love how the generous and kind Desert Steel company is giving you…one of my lucky readers their own set-of-3 ‘Blue Rose’ succulent sculptures.
Moreover, these ‘Blue Rose’ sculptures look fabulous grouped together in one large planter, but look equally compelling scattered about your landscape or in one big cluster in the ground.
But I beg you, place these ‘Blue Rose’ beauties in your front yard where all who visit can savor them and enjoy their artful pizzazz. And become green with envy no doubt!
Just kidding! Thou shall not covet thy neighbors set-of-3 ‘Blue Rose’ Succulents. Especially when you can just buy your own!
And. The. Sizes. Spot-on perfect! They come in a 9″ W, 16″ W, and 20″ W. Just like the three bears, all ideal sizes. The smallest one at 9 inches hangs perfectly on a wall. I plan on putting mine up on the white vinyl fence the new neighbors just installed.
In turn, the 16″ and the 20″ will be staked in pots below the fence. Now I have garden art to adorn my side yard and give it some glam. Don’t you notice that your “real” plants are getting scraggly this time of year?
Insert big groan here!

What is a ‘Blue Rose’ succulent?
Echeveria imbricata ‘Blue Rose’ is an evergreen succulent native to Mexico and has one of the most perfect rosettes with fleshy saucer shaped leaves.
But these steel ‘Blue Rose’ succulents will thrive in your environment wherever you might live! When you see these metal succulent sculptures in person, you will marvel at how Desert Steel nailed the powder blue color.
These sculptures truly mimic a real ‘Blue Rose’ succulent plant. Over time they will patina making them look even more plant-like and realistic
If grown under perfect conditions, the tight rosettes can become quite large (4-6 in. wide), and can produce multiple offsets that hug the mother rosette at the base.
Besides its attractive appearance, Echeveria imbricata ‘Blue Rose’ is also very popular thanks to its hardiness. It can tolerate temperature as low as 25 F (-3 C).
So yes, the ‘Blue Rose” succulent plant is hardy and would be fun to grow alongside these no-kill plants. But it doesn’t get anymore realistic than the ‘Blue Rose’ succulent if you prefer not to grow your own.
Truthfully, I find “real” ‘Blue Rose’ succulents to be slow growers that are difficult to propagate. You’ll have to do so through leaves or offsets but will wait a long time to reap the rewards. If ever!
Desert Steel provides instant gratification with these ‘Blue Rose’ succulents that you will savor the second you get them out of the box. Sculpture eye candy!

Desert Steel at its finest…..
I love the new collection of succulents that Desert Steel unveiled this past spring. Unlike other companies, they always seem to be re-inventing themselves with exciting and innovative new product~ to make our homes and gardens shine with wonder!
A small company hailing out of Kansas, it doesn’t get anymore American that this. Desert Steel handcrafts sculptures, solar lights, bird feeders, luminaries, torches and so much more out of humongous sheets of metal.
True artisans who take pride in their work. Their competitors wares can be seen at many local garden centers, too. And they are cheaply made in foreign companies across the sea. Broken and in garbage dumps within a year.
When you purchase Desert Steel products you are buying realistically made wares that imitate nature as it is. So each product is unique and looks it.
Your set-of-three ‘Blue Rose’ Succulents will have individual characteristics and coloring that make them interesting and unique.
It’s always quality. Quality. Quality with Desert Steel who only puts out the highest caliber of metal products.
Over time, you will see for yourself how Desert Steel metal product beatify your space and invigorate your yard. And last, but certainly not least, these succulents come fully assembled and require no maintenance.
There’s no water, no sun and no fertilizer required. These “plants” never fade or get scraggly and leggy over time. So they look good from now to forever. Can I get an amen?

I absolutely love the new look! I am sure it took a lot of time and effort, so well done 🙂 I thought of you yesterday while trying to sort out my pea plants 🙂
Oh wow! Blue Rose succulents are just gorgeous. These would be so perfect in our Cali garden too. I used to kill succulents all the time, but as soon as we moved closer to the coast they’ve practically taken care of themselves. I’d love to try these Blue Rose succulents. I love hearty plants!
